Today, I did something I never thought I would ever do in my entire life...

I am in Day 3 of my maui adventure. So far so good. First day there was a delay. Today for the first time I got sea sick. 7/9 of my family members got sea sick. We had to go on this boat to go to the snorkeling place and it was not a fun ride...I didn't even eat the delish barbeque the crew had cooked on the boat..But lesson learned and I moved on. Tomorrow will be a splendid day. We are headed for a luau and the ocean center. I really want to diving with the sharks..Is that too crazy? My parents won't let me though..hehe oh well. Anyways, I am completely exhausted and I can feel my skin getting darker by the minute. The weather is absolutely beautiful here. It's not too hot and there's a cool breeze to cool you down when it does get hot. I bought lots of souvenirs at this place called swap meet. Its pretty cheap. I really could live here...well maybe for a couple of months. I think I would miss the cold..

Writer's block
What makes you feel powerful?

I think being able to say "I'm me and that's all I know how to be". Nobody has the right to change who you are. "Self is not something someone finds, its something one creates."

I'm going to try and update this journal everyday. It's not because I'm bored but after a couple of months into the new year, I have a new outlook on life.

Just always remember, if your having a bad day just picture a guys ass split wide open because of a bull's horn...haha That was so disgusting by the way...

Looks like I'll be spending my birthday in the Philippines. It's not what I wanted to do but my birthday is just another regular day to me. I probably would have spent my birthday sleeping had I stayed in Canada this year.hahahah I completely forgot it was my birthday last year.hahaha

Today is my first day of work and I'm completely off today.ahaha I think I left my mind in Las Vegas. It's good thing they're not crazy ass calls that I have to process or else I'd be screwed.

I just watched Stomp the Yard and it's actually pretty good. It has a good balance of storyline and dancing. When I first walked into the movie I had absolutely no idea what the movie was about.

Gosh I have a boring life...

I just got back Las Vegas...It was hella fun. We spent 5 days there. I could only spend 200 bucks before duty taxes which really sucked.

On Saturday, we arrived in Vegas and found out that it was frikkin cold..yah that's right, it was freezing in the frikkin desert. We went to our hotel which was the aladdin hotel located right on the strip. We ate our brunch at this really expensive burger restaurant and it tasted terrible. Walked around the aladdin shops. They had this huge sale at victoria secret. you can by 8 full sized lotions for only 35 bucks. That was pretty cheap. Bath and Body works was having another huge sale too. My nose was all numb after smelling so many lotions and perfume. We walked to the coca cola store and the M&M store. It's the coolest stores ever! The M&Ms were so cute. They even had this 3D show about the M&Ms. Got back to the hotel and we gambled at the machines and won 80 bucks from 5 dollars. We were on a high so we cashed out and bought some food. Usually people keep playing but I like to cash out when I'm on a high.

On Sunday, we got tickets to the Celine Dion concert and it was awesome! The best concert I've ever seen. Even if you don't like Celine Dion it was visually stunning. It's definitely one of those lifetime experiences that you'll never forget. I'm so glad I got to see it considering this year is celine dion's last year performing. We also went to the outlets. Bought myself a 2 pairs of sketcher shoes for 50 bucks. That was a hell of a good steal. Played the machines again and won 80 bucks from 5 dollars again.

On Monday, we walked down the strip. Went to the bellagio, Ceasar's palace, The Venetian, Paris, Fashion show shopping mall. My feet were so tired by the end of the day. We wanted to go swimming but it was closed because it was frikkin cold. hahaha That fountain in front of the bellagio is frikkin cool. It's that Ocean's 11 fountain.

On Tuesday, We went to that price is right show and it was exactly like the show. The host was that guy from Blind date. We didn't win anything though. We also went to Monte Carlo to watch Lance Burton the magician. It was so unreal but it was cool. After that we went "slot hopping". We put in 5 dollars in each machine at 5 different hotels. I think we went to monte carlo, bellagio, Ceasar's palace and paris to play the machine. Got to see that neat fountain again.

Wednesday was when the fun ended and it started to Warm up in Las Vegas. I think we brought the cold with us.

I've been on holiday these past two weeks and it has made me put things in prospective like my life and where it's headed but I won't bore you with my new revelation. hehe.

Sorry I just had a momentary lapse. But after a good smack over the head it's all good. Instead of going the first week of January, I'll just have to extend my holiday. And after a good talking with my cousin about my failed test, she made me realize that if it wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to be. I really should start listening to my own advice.hahaha

yaaaaah I have a new kdrama buddy, his name is Rocky..hahhahaha I've got my whole family hooked on my kdrama tv shows. They phone me everyday about more kdramas. I'm working right now and I am sooo bored. I bought a new kdrama online. It was 105 bucks.

I'm finished my christmas shopping...yahhhh.

I just finished watching the stupidest movie I have ever seen....Its a chinese martial arts movie and I bought it at rogers video because the chinese guy looked cute...heheh anways, it was the dumbest movie. I fast fowarded to the action parts and I was laughing through out the movie. FYI 75% of the Korean/chinese movies I choose are because of a cute/HOT guy.hahaha

I signed up for spa lady...hahahha oh man. The machine I like the most is their stretching machine. I thought that was pretty cool. It'll definitely help me with my Hapkido. Which reminds me, My master is going to kill me because I haven't gone in three weeks. oops.

I think I'm going to have to sift through my dvd collection. I have a feeling I bought doubles of movies...ah well.

I went to the mall to buy christmas presents, but ended up buying 2 dresses...hhaha I figured I'm investing in my future by buying these two dresses. They're an investment to future prospects...hahahhaha yah right..

Gosh it's freezing out there..but I would rather have it cold than muddy and yucky. I should have washed gizmo when it was
-30. My doors would have been frozen shut but at least he would be clean. Can you believe I am almost done my christmas shopping. All I have to shop for is ronalyn and my brother jay. On my days off, I've been playing that new splinter cell game...haha I'm so productive. We put up our charlie brown christmas tree and by charlie brown I mean it's missing branches and it tilts to one side. That thing is older than me! Although this morning, my mom was babysitting jason's little brother and they had nothing to do so they took the tree down and put it back up again. I work on christmas eve and christmas day. I am so gonna dead on christmas day. I don't know how I'll function.

I decided to sign up for spa lady fitness centre. I was gonna sign up for the talisman but it's bloody expensive.

I had this plan of what to write in this lj thing but I completely forgot what I was going to write. Ah well

So With the year off, I've decided to take a photography class and maybe even get a certificate in photography. I think that would be cool. I think the Philippines trip and South Korea trip in January is shot. I think it's because of the recent nuclear testings in North Korea. So my cousin and I decided to go to an all inclusive trip to cancun or bahamas or something. Anybody want to go? I have a whole month off and nothing planned yet. On the way to work this morning, I was pretty much driving in the middle of deerfoot at 60km/h. It's so nice outside.

Hapkido is getting expensive. Not a good thing when your trying to save up for a house. It'll probably take me a good 3 years to save up enough money for downpayment. By then House prices will probably sky rocket.

A 16 hour work day turns the brain into mush....thank goodness for overtime pay..heheheh Gosh Im' awefully tired. I can't wait for my 3 days off (Would have been 4 days but I took an overtime shift this saturday..hehe)

So I think I'm going to the philippines in January. But we're stopping over in Japan or korea for a week which will be pretty cool. Probably Japan because I would want to stay longer in korea if we went there.haah

I really want to go to bahamas though. There's this really cool resort and it has a temple as a water slide. I have to show everyone the picture. Anybody want to go with me? Seriously. I was thinking of going either next year or the year after. Just let me know everyone.

So much for swimming lessons. I had to miss my last 4 classes because of an ear infection and I was going diva camping. I think I'm planning to take private swimming lessons. I already knew how to do the stuff that they were teaching ie: floating. I just want to learn how to swim in the deep end thats all.

Just came back from Diva camping. I love diva camping. I don't think I can handle hard-core camping. I need the clean showers and the clean bathrooms. We went to Radium Hot springs and it was really nice there. We got a site near a creek and my cousin's dog, snoopy was barking up a storm. It was fun. But man we went through so many coke. Great value coke from wal-mart is hella addicting. It was like I was on speed or something. I definitely think my alcohol tolerance has gone up. I drank 3 full breezers and didn't even feel a thing. It was like drinking coke. hahah But they were yummy breezers. I had a caribean lime, island pineapple and pina colada. Our camping trip went from diva camping to princess camping to pansy camping. haha I had a blast. I'll post pictures later.

Anyways, I got a higher up position in STARS. Now I'm a hospital coordinator. I coordinate hospital transfers and stuff like that with just a phone call. I start training in 5 days. I'm pretty excited about that.

What color should I get for my new creative zen? Pink, Green or black? I also get airmiles if I use my credit card to buy stuff...sweeet! I'm hooked on airmiles now. I'd go to safeway and just buy shit that I don't eat just for the airmiles. Heeeey that's a good idea. I think it's time for a food party.

I watched domino yesterday. I actually didn't like it. It was a bit too weird for me. Was it really necessary to have a sex scene in the middle of the dessert after a crash. Geez.

Watching the news makes me sick. There was this news thing a couple of days ago and some of the canadians were complaining about the conditions on the ship when they were being evacuated from lebanon. Some even stated "Is this what we deserve from the canadian government?" Ummm hellllo, you got your lives isn't that enough. It made me sick to my stomach that these people would make these kind of statements. At least they got evacuated. There are people dying by the hundreds everyday in the middle east and all these people care about is the conditions on the ship. Did they expect a cruise ship with swimming pools or something? ugggh. I'd like to give these people a slap in the face and make them watch the news. There was another attack and the majority of people that were killed were childrem. I just wanted to cry when I heard that.

Well anyways, I just wanted to get that off my chest. I'm home alone for 4 days. Whoot. But My parents took my car to winnipeg so I've got to use the ghetto van for four days.heheh. I'm super excited about swimming tomorrow. It's gonna be fun.

I bought a swim suit...and it's a two peice. yikes I've never worn a bikini before. Although I'm still gonna look around for probably something more comfortable for swimming lessons. I don't wanna flash anyone at the pool.hahahah I'm quite excited about swimming again. I haven't even put my foot in the pool for 15 years. hhaha I used to love swimming when I was younger but after a near drowning experience 15 years ago I thik that's when I stopped. But I vowed to myself this year that I would show no fear in anything I do. So far I've been doing pretty well. I still want to travel this year. I was tempted to go to greece with my co-worker but I couldn't get it off. I'm trying to save up enough vacation time to go to the philippines in january. Although I really want to go to someplace different like cancun or las vegas this year. but anywho, I should probably get back to work hehe. Being near a computer is dangerous. I spend more money online than in a shopping mall.hahaha

I've been having this re-occuring dream. I'm running towards my house in a community. I don't think it was riverbend and I reach a cul-de-sac. In the corner of the cul-de-sac, there's someone saying "you'll find your way" and in the middle of the cul-de-sac, there's this wedding going on at a house. I couldn't see the face of the bride or the groom and they had these two stretched limos in front of their house. But it seemed like a happy one. I start running towards my house again. It seemed endless. It felt like I was late for something. I finally reach my house and the house is completely empty. No furniture or anything. And I think that's when I woke up. Everytime I dream this it's like re-watching the same movie in sections. It's so weird.

Anywho, I tried cleaning my closet today but it was so bloody hot. I don't think I'd survive in the philippines.haha I'd actually prefer winter over summer because at least when your cold you can easily warm yourself up but with heat its so hard to cool down. That's my two cents.
